Setting boundaries is a really important part of keeping relationships intact, both with others and with oneself.

Everyone must learn to practice this, but sometimes such practice takes a lot of effort.

Most times, people will side on not setting boundaries because of fear of conflict or feeling rejected by the other person, forgetting that boundaries help us protect mental space and emotional space.

“healthy boundaries are key to healthy relationships.”

However, have you ever delved deeper, thought, or wondered why? Because we often find ourselves giving too much to others, before we know it, we feel drained and overwhelmed. Good boundaries allow us to retain energy and protect needs. Examples are spaces where we can assert ourselves while prioritizing needs.
